Biographical Profile
“Cowards die many times before death; the valiant never taste death but once”: Fatima Jinnah.

I was blind at the age of 8, after exhausting all the medical treatment, my father found a news item about an institute for the education of visually impaired, I was super lucky because it was just 4 KM away from our home. So, my education got resumed and my father’s hardwork along with the dedication of my teachers, I learned Braille quickly. In 1998, I got 2nd position in the exams of 8th grade of Special Education in Punjab.
I also Participated in scouting and made name for debate competitions in my school. College education was challenging, in 2002, I got the 1st position in my intermediate result in Gordon College Rawalpindi.

An interesting incident transformed me, immediately after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, General Pervez Musharraf announced National Solidarity Day on 26 September, 2001 to develop consensus for difficult decisions. The commemorations included a debate competition that I won, a catalyst for my deep understanding of violent religious extremism and terrorism. The Dopamine was in full swing, I was holding trophy, a fellow participant depressed me by suggesting that sympathy played role in my victory.
The phoenix rose from the ashes, to rule out the element of sympathy, I won 37 quiz competitions, including PTV’s All Pakistan Madar-e-Millat Quiz Competition.
The year 2003 was marked as the year of Fatima Jinnah by the government and PTV was directed to organize national level quiz, telecasted in 34 episodes and 300 colleges and universities participated in it. Same year, with an English article “Globalisation that Glitters is not Gold” and an Urdu article “Neend keo rat bher nahi aati”, I started my writing pursuits. I was also awarded AJK Prime Minister’s Gold Medal for the Advancement of Kashmir Cause for the Year 2002, farewell Gordon College that gifted me the coolest friends.
At Quaid-e-Azam University, I did M.Phil in International Relations (A grade) and befriended many people, all to become super heroes one day. My professional life started in USAID- Pakistan Legislative strengthening Project, a life time experience to meet the officials of Parliament of UK, US Congress and Parliament House Islamabad. Like father like son, I am serving my country in WAPDA as DY Mngr.
